Featuring large scale railroading - fun for the whole family - hosted by the LGB Model Railroad Club of Chicago.
Tuesday thru Friday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
LGB (Lehmann Gross Bahn) displays many different facets of large-scale model railroading from decorating whimsically or authentically to wiring easy or ambitious track plans.
From their modest beginnings of two simple ovals of track, the club now operates with over 2000 feet of rail and over 40 turnouts. That’s almost 9 scale miles of track. This club is famous for their displays at the Morton Arboretum each holiday season and for the annual Brookfield Zoo Holiday Magic lights display along with many other events and model railroad shows throughout the year. Admission $5/Adults, $3/Ages 12 & under and GHC Members, includes admission to our exhibitions "Start With A Sketch" and "Greetings From Geneva"
