Artifact Donations

Through the generosity of individuals, businesses and estates, each year new artifacts and archival materials are added to the permanent collection. These donations help the Geneva History Museum fulfill its mission to share Geneva's evolving story.
Collecting Scope

The Geneva History Museum collects artifacts that highlight Geneva’s history from its founding in 1835 to the present day. The Geneva History Museum’s collecting scope includes:
- Materials produced or used in Geneva
- Materials pertaining to a property/residence in Geneva
- Materials that pertain directly to Geneva businesses, manufacturers, restaurants, churches/religious organizations, schools, city government/services and social or residential life
- Materials that pertain to longtime residents of Geneva
If you have artifacts, photographs or documents that you believe would enhance the Geneva History Museum’s collection, please review the Artifact Donation Form and submit a description of your proposed donation to the Curator of Collections at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
